Designed to meet the
requirements of the
European Space
Agency for 16-bit spacecraft applications, GCC-1750
supports C and C++ programming for the MIL-STD-1750
computer.
GCC-1750 is based on the popular GCC compiler from the Free Software Foundation and includes the assembler, linker, object code utilities and symbolic debugger. It also includes a simulator from Daimler Benz Aerospace, which may run stand-alone or under the control of the debugger. LibrariesGCC-1750 includes the ANSI C library (libc) and a double-precision math library (libm). Multi tasking is provided by POSIX threads (libpthread). The libraries are licensed so that you can use the supplied source, or link with the supplied object code without having to disclose the source of your application program. This means that although GCC-1750 is open-source software, is it suitable for developing proprietary applications. |
PlatformsGCC-1750 is readily ported to any POSIX compliant platform, and the Kit is ready-to-run on the following computer systems:
CreditsGCC-1750 was funded by the European Space Agency, ESTEC contract 11935/NL/JG, and is based on work by Oliver Kellogg. Key Benefits
